Padday Na Lima, an Ybanag vernacular which means “made by the hands” is an annual regional trade fair organized by the Department of Trade & Industry-Region 2 (DTI-R2), aimed at promoting the bounties and wonders of Cagayan Valley.
Over the years, the Padday na Lima Regional Trade Fair was able to build a reputation as the biggest fair in the region and a banner promoting the exquisite products of Region 2, including tourism and investment opportunities. It has emerged as a superior and prestigious platform for business matching activities and interactive collaborations, both in the private and public sectors. Most especially, it has been a seeding ground for growth and progress, especially in helping Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) optimize their full potential for economic and social development amidst various challenges.
The trade fair provides exposure for local MSMEs and farmers, showcasing a variety of goods, from fresh produce to processed foods, native delicacies, furniture, and innovative products from the region’s provinces, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, and Nueva Vizcaya.
Through time, the trade fair has achieved significant milestones, including record-breaking sales, a growing number of MSME exhibitors, and the continuous evolution of its trade show features, such as provincial pavilions, fashion shows, the VIB program etc.
The Padday na Lima Regional Trade Fair celebrates Cagayan Valley's collective efforts to meet market demands, embodying the taglines “Bountiful Cagayan Valley” and “The Islands and Valleys of Fun.”
